About Us
In the 60’s...
...Martin Smullian and Gordon Schwormstedt joined the firm. At that stage Lionel was the United Party Member of Parliament for Green Point, a seat he held for 26 years until blatant gerrymandering unseated him. Gordon had by then taken the lead with the media. In 1990 Jacques Louw joined as partner and took over the media and commercial work. Both Gordon and Martin have since passed away.
Since its start, the firm has expanded to its current size of seven attorneys. Whilst we maintain our eminence in media/internet/publishing fields law, our scope of services and expertise has broadened, now encompassing various fields of commercial, litigation, property, financial services, family, insolvency and personal injury laws.
